Overview

Whitehall Nursing Home involved the partial reconstruction and staged refurbishment of an operational aged care facility in Lindfield. Works included the demolition and rebuilding of the front portion of the building and the full internal refurbishment of the rear, including bedrooms, ensuites, corridors, and common areas.

The project was delivered in a live environment, requiring careful staging to ensure minimal disruption to care services while enhancing resident amenity, accessibility, and comfort.

Construction Features

Front Wing Rebuild

Demolished and reconstructed the front portion of the facility, incorporating new wards, dining and lounge areas, a staff area, and a first-floor terrace

Live Site Staging & Continuity

All construction phases were staged around daily operations, maintaining full occupancy and service delivery throughout the works

Refurbishment of Rear Building

Upgraded existing bedrooms, bathrooms, circulation areas, and communal spaces to modern aged care standards
