Overview
Transformation of a 150-year-old former schoolhouse into 12 loft-style residences while constructing three new pitch-roofed apartment buildings that added 22 contemporary units. Retaining the historic Thames Street façade, we blended heritage restoration with modern design to enhance residential density without compromising the precinct’s character. Delivered under a conversion and new-build contract, the project overcame significant structural and logistical challenges—including limited site access, basement excavation beneath the heritage structure, and complex support works—through precise planning and coordinated delivery.
