Overview
We delivered a two-stage redevelopment at St Dominic’s College, involving the transformation of Building A and the construction of a new Building E. Executed within a live campus, the works were carefully staged to avoid disruption to school operations while integrating new learning, sports, and performance facilities.
Building E was positioned on a constrained, steep sloping site, delivering a high-performance multi-purpose lecture theatre, music studios, and gym complex. Building A was reimagined as the new main entry, reception, and administration building, offering clear public interface, double-height spaces, and improved campus identity—all aligned with the College’s vision for contemporary, flexible learning environments.
Construction Features
Staged Delivery with Live Campus Coordination
Completed the critical Building E and A construction in two phases to ensure school operations continued unhindered, with temporary works seamlessly managed between stages
Building A: Signature Entry and Public Interface
Transformed the original frontage into a welcoming double-height entry and reception with direct access to new boardrooms and administration areas, enhancing the College’s visibility and campus circulation
Collaborative Masterplan Delivery
Worked closely with PMDL and College stakeholders throughout design and delivery to align functional outcomes with long-term master planning and educational strategy
Building E: Multi-Functional Hub
Developed within a narrow sloped site, Building E comprises theatre-style lecture halls, performing arts suites, sports and music studios—designed to meet the College’s future ready curriculum
