Overview
Lucy Chieng Aged Care Centre is a purpose-built 70-bed facility designed to meet the needs of Chinese-Australian seniors through culturally aligned aged care services. Delivered under a Design & Construct contract, the development includes 35 low-care rooms, 20 high-care rooms, and 15 dementia-specific rooms—each with private ensuites. Communal dining and lounge areas, a therapy spa, library, salon, and landscaped courtyard were also integrated into the facility to promote resident wellbeing and comfort.
Designed to reflect both cultural and clinical priorities, the project was completed within a live aged care setting, with all works staged to maintain full operational continuity.
