Overview

Stage 3 of the Diocese masterplan delivers 21 residential units across five storeys, with secure basement parking. Constructed for the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta, the project completes the precinct’s transformation with carefully integrated materials and design that respond to earlier stages and adjacent structures.

The building is structured around an in-situ concrete core and features a combination of face brickwork and rendered façades to complement existing architecture. Cantilevered pile foundations eliminated temporary anchor requirements, while driveway improvements avoided disrupting existing infrastructure.

Construction Features

Cantilevered Piling & Structural Innovation

In‑house engineered cantilevered pile design removed the need for temporary anchors at retention walls, enabling efficient and site-sensitive foundation construction

Façade Materials Harmonised to Precinct

Integrated face brickwork and painted render to match earlier stages of the precinct; Level 4 features grey aluminium cladding, ensuring visual continuity and architectural cohesion

Dincel-Formed Lift Core & Concrete Structure

Constructed a continuous in‑situ concrete core from basement to ground level, with Levels 1–4 using Dincel permanent formwork for lift shaft walls, improving build speed and structural consistency

Redesign & Basement Access Coordination

Refined the driveway geometry and underground parking entry to avoid relocation of existing utilities, maintaining overall precinct service functionality and consistency
