Overview

We delivered a state-of-the-art two-court sports hall for Frensham School, tailored to host IGSA competition-standard netball and basketball events. Set within a picturesque rural campus backdrop, the facility includes sprung timber courts, upper-level spectator galleries, change rooms, amenities, canteen kitchen, reception, and facility offices—all topped by an external covered veranda. Designed to meet FIBA compliance, acoustics, and ventilation standards, the hall supports both school programming and community engagement.

Construction Features

Competition-Grade Multi-Sport Courts & Tiered Spectator Seating

Delivered two FIBA-compliant indoor courts with sprung timber flooring, custom court line-marking, and retractable basketball backboards. Tiered upper-level galleries provide uninterrupted viewing for IGSA-standard netball and basketball competitions

Full-Service Amenity Fit-Out

Constructed dedicated change rooms, staff amenities, storerooms, and a commercial-grade canteen kitchen. The reception and administration suite support both school operations and external event hosting. A shaded external veranda provides all-weather gathering space and spectator overflow

Integrated Acoustic & Natural Ventilation Systems

Installed high-performance acoustic wall and ceiling treatments to ensure clarity during both sports and community use. A louvre-controlled ventilation system—integrated with temperature and CO₂ sensors—automatically regulates airflow for optimal indoor climate control

Resilient Construction Management on a Live Campus

Navigated high rainfall, gale-force winds, regional labour shortages, and supply chain disruptions through adaptive procurement and staging strategies—ensuring completion ahead of the school’s IGSA sporting calendar
